5 Best Mom at Home Blogs
I have followed blogs for years as I have navigated the path of creating the home and life that I love. Finding inspiration from other moms in the same boat as me is so encouraging and helpful. Here are a few blogs that I love, that talk about all things at home…hand made items, homemaking, relationships, budget, decorating and just plain family fun.
Some of these ladies you may already know, and some may become a new favorite blog to follow!
#1 Farmhouse on Boone
I love how Lisa creates so many things from scratch. I have not tried many of her recipes (because my current season of life requires that I cook mostly super fast and familiar foods), but her home, DIY and sewing ideas are so great and approachable.

#2 Home Made Lovely
Shannon has some great organization tips and I love her section on Biblical Entertaining. Her home is lovely and she has fun decorating and DIY ideas listed throughout her site. I always leave her site inspired and feeling equipped to spruce up my home and have people over to enjoy it.
#3 Artful Homemaking
This site is so encouraging for moms at home trying to juggle kids, school, home and marriage. She has fun kid ideas and great helps for decluttering and making your home feel calmer.

#4 Living Well Spending Less
Ruth is a master at streamlining and systems. I love looking at her ideas and then adapting them to what will work for my life ( I tend to buck systems…but I really want them to work!). This site is packed with great ideas and encouragement on how to make your life run more smoothly.

I love Hilary’s focus on Havens. She has sections on Physical Havens, Relational Havens and Spiritual Havens. The way she writes is encouraging and applicable, making me feel like I can accomplish the goal of my home being a haven for my family and friends.

Are You Inspired?
I love that technology has created a way for women all over the world to share their experiences, victories and tips with each other. Being able to see what other women have struggled with, overcome, and perfected is so encouraging and helpful. I am so grateful for all of those who share their experiences, skills and expertise, and I hope to join their club! These types of women inspired me to start my own blog with my own story to help inspire other as well.
Do you know of some other great “mom at home” or homemaking blogs? I would love to hear about them. Leave a comment with you favorite blogs…I can’t wait to check them out.
